Description
Please NOTE: This tour is only available from November to April.
This is an excellent sake tour to visit a prestigious sake brewery and indulge in a tasting lesson. A delicate yet complex rice wine liquor made by fermenting rice, sake is an essential in Japanese food culture, just as grape wines go well with French cuisine. It has also been considered a sacred drink and was believed to exorcise evil spirits. Kanazawa and its outskirts are perfectly suited to sake brewing and said to be one of the leading sake regions in Japan, taking advantage of the cold climate, high-quality natural water and premium rice. Take a look behind the scenes and discover the history, stories and culture of sake from the brewer. Explore different flavors of sake to find your favorite in the exclusive tasting lesson. In addition to this special experience, we will bring you to an exploration into the samurai city of Kanazawa with all its amazing sites such as Kenroku-en garden, Kanazawa castle, Nagamachi samurai district and more.
