This tour is recommended for people who would like to visit the historic village of Shirakawa-go and explore the samurai city of Kanazawa at a time. Located in a mountainous region that was cut off from the rest of the world for a long period of time, Shirakawa-go is famous for the traditional houses called Gassho-zukuri that refers to the shape of the roofing that looks like a person's hands put together for praying. Surrounded by snow, flowers, greens and red leaves of autumn, every season there has its unique special beauty as it is designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites and reserved stars in the Michelin Guide. And also, there are a lot of places, foods and culture you can't miss in Kanazawa. Your professional guide will escort you to all its amazing sites such as Kenroku-en garden, Kanazawa castle, Nagamachi samurai district and more. Three nights of accommodation at a sophisticated hotel in the center of Kanazawa is also included.

Our guide and driver will meet you at Kanazawa station, Komatsu airport or your staying hotel in Kanazawa.

Please enjoy "Kaiseki" dinner at the traditional Japanese "Ryokan" hotel.

Day2

10am-5pm

 
Hotel pick up

Travel to Shirakawa-go by a private car accross the beautiful countryside for 1.5h.

 

Shirakawa-go
Walking around, visit traditional farmhouse and enjoy beautiful view of the village.
Travel back to Kanazawa.
 
Hotel drop off

Please enjoy "Kaiseki" dinner at the traditional Japanese "Ryokan" hotel.
